Postcrete 20kg
0 out of 5Whether you’re a DIY-er or a professional it’s a sure bet that the hardest part of putting up a fence is getting those concrete, metal or wooden fence posts secured strongly in their post-holes. They need to be concreted in, which means mixing, fixing and leaving to set with the pole supported upright in position – a laborious and long-winded process. Thank goodness you can now order a wonder product here online that will have your fence posts firmly grounded in around 10 minutes – with no mixing needed.
Keynsham Timber & Hardware stocks 20kg bags of Postcrete – a pre-mixed, ready to use and very quick-setting blend of selected sand, cement and aggregates formulated especially for fixing upright wooden, concrete and metal posts. This useful formulation is perfect for erecting poles to support anything from fenceposts to rotary wash lines and children’s swing sets.
The best thing about Postcrete is that all you need do is dig a hole to the right depth, drop in a post, fill the hole up to about a third with water and then pour in the Postcrete evenly around the post on top of the water. Use a plumb line and spirit level to ensure the post in a perfect upright position, adjust it carefully if necessary. After five to ten minutes the concrete will have hardened enough to hold the post in place without support, and it should be fully set after 20 or 30 minutes.
We offer next day delivery on online orders of Postcrete, which comes in weatherproof plastic packaging. Alternatively you can opt to “click and collect” from our Keynsham depot.
Postcrete meets BES 6001 certification for responsible sourcing. You will require 2 bags of Postcrete 20kg per fence post.
Prices include VAT.
